Villagers oppose coal-fired power plant

On Thurday, about 600 people in the village from Sanamchaikhet and Phanom Sarakham districts in Chachoengsao provience block the highway 331 in declare against the construction of a coal- fuel electricity generation plant in the No 304 industrial. They want the National Power Supply Company to move the project to somewhere because the province industrial estate was surround by large local agricultural community and they think that the power plant would demote the environment and the people that stay in that place will get a health problems and effect their way of living . The environmental impact asessment report of the 54o megawatt power plant was affirm in last year and the the project operator to build in the No 304 industrial estate.

In my point of view, the owner of this company should move this company to somewhere that do not have many people because this thing can affect the people the stay in province and if they build in this provinced the people that stay in this province will get sick and have a lot people die. They should build in the province that do not have many people so the people will not get sick.

Debate must be televised

Mr.Chai Chidchob had postponed the debate to next Tuesday because the parliament could not finish voting o all section of the bill by 2 pm on friday.The government announced that the debate will not be on air because it was afraid about the opposite side that show up duing the previous session and claim that the oposite did not keep track of the debate time.Prime Minister'sOffice Minister Ong-art Klampaiboon said that Channel 11 have no problem in broadcast the budget bill debate but the station must wait for the parliament's response first.

In my opinion,I think it is good that the debate will not be on air because each people have different idea and if the govornment on air that maybe it will be resist and I think the topic that be debate should be benifit for this country.

Taweep plans to bring his case to court

Taweep Jantararoj,Thai amateur boxing boss plans to bring the case of him to dangleby the International Amateur Boxing Association another name is (AIBA) to the court of Arbitration for sport.Aiba has dangle Taweep as administrationfor one year for blame the organisation during the 2008 Olympics.This punishment has been effect since May 3 and his petition was turn down by Aiba.Yesterday,Taweep told that a press conference punished him by using a distorted document sent to Thai official and he demand the document that Aiba used to take the action against his was wrong translation and he had filed a complaint against the translator at police station.

In my opinion,I think the people that give him a punishment should check the document properly because if you punish in wrong people the person that allege will be in bad situation.No one will hire for work.

E-ticketing device tested for traffic law offenders

The city police will give out tickets to traffic law by using a electonic mobile device called E-ticket.This will be control in Bangkok area start by the end of this month.The E-ticket device can print a ticket on the spot so the police do not have to write.The E-ticket device will be linked to the Royal Thai Police's database and all the information on every ticket will be store in the system and the police station can obtain it.The drivers who are given a ticket for breaking traffic rules will be able to get his or her ticket pay at anywhere no need to go to the place that issue in that ticket and for driver who hold an electronic driving licence,the police officer will scan all the information to the device and it will appear on the screen.For thosewho hold a convential licence,the police will key the ID number.

The government will increase 5 percent of the month salary for the state officials and employee,start on April next year.Mr.Atthawit Suwanphakdee said that the paliment will consider the budget on August 18 and 19.Ti abiut 33.44 billion bath will be derive from the budget next year but the budget will focus on four strategic such as water resources,roads education institutes and insurance programmes for farmer. About 43.8 billion bath be designate for the agricultural sector.the amount does not cover the 47.6 billion bath reserve.

Thai Airways international (Thai) have speculation in low cost airline because Nok air is not come to marketing strategy to expand the business.Mr Ampon said the percent of customer that use Thai Airways has drop down from 50 percent to 30 percent.Singapore's Tiger Airways was already known in Europe and it was regarded as a 'super low-cost' airline.He was confident that Thai 100 millions baht it will be back in three years and if Thai does not get involved in the low cost airlines business, which is growing by 10 percent and 20 percent.It will lose its markets.
Thai and Tiger Airways signed the contract to create Thai Tiger Airways and 51 percent is own by Thailand and 49 percent is own by Tiger.the fight start to fly in Suvarnabhumi Airport in early next year.

I think,It is good to has more choice in low cost airline for Thai people to choose because now Thai economy is not good so people do not want to spend more money on that.
